16 MAY

Dr. Kelly Wright will present the life of Aletheia Pattison, Part 1, ALETHEIA IN CONTEXT, at Promont in Milford, where she lived as a child. Come to Promont, Thursday May 14th, 6:30 PM. That address is 906 Main St., Milford, 45150, hosted by the Greater Milford Area Historical Society . Part 2, ALETHEIA IN EUROPE will be hosted by the Clermont County Historical Society, at the Batavia Branch Library, 180 S. 3rd St. 45103, Saturday, May 23, at 1PM.

Daughter of an Ohio governor, wartime refugee worker, socialite, auto mechanic, and philanthropist -- Clermont County's Aletheia Pattison packed a lot of adventures into her 97 years. Some of the effects of her work are still felt today in Southwest Ohio and throughout Europe. Her life was so full in fact, that her biographer finds it difficult to recount the events of that life in one talk. Please join us at the Greater Milford Historical Society when we welcome Dr. Kelly F. Wright for Part 1 of her presentation Aletheia Pattison: A Life in Two Parts, the first half of which is set here at Promont. Dr. Wright is the president of the Clermont County Historical Society, where part two will be presented a week later.

Speaker: Dr. Kelly Wright
